Fy 23-24, islamabad will get new underpasses and flyovers

The Capital Development Authority (CDA) Islamabad plans to initiate several citywide construction initiatives in fiscal year 2023–24. The budget for them is 20 billion rupees.

Eleventh Avenue, the Serena Chowk underpass, and the Shaheen Chowk Overpass will all be built, while the widths of Lahtrar Road, Park Road, and Murree Road will all be expanded.

Islamabad will get mega products

CDA is now engaged in development projects in Islamabad with a total value of Rs. 100 billion. Chairman Noor-ul-Amin Mengal has predicted a completion date of between two to three months.

Eleventh Avenue, Srinagar Highway, and IJP Road, Mengal added, will be combined. He also mentioned that the Islamabad Motorway repairs will be finished soon.

Mengal has promised that the roads leading to Kashmir and Murree from Serena Chowk will soon be signal-free. He also said that the department would do away with the Margalla Road traffic lights.

Mengal also addressed the upcoming project of building a dual highway across Shaheen Chowk. He further mentioned that in FY 2023-24, work would be done to widen Park Road and Lahtrar Road to accommodate more traffic.
