The Saudi ambassador to Pakistan, Nawaf bin Said Al-Malki, stated on Thursday that his country will do everything possible to assist Pakistani IT firms in obtaining visas.

However, the Ministry of Information Technology and Telecommunication made this claim following a meeting on Thursday between the ambassador and Dr. Umar Saif, the acting federal minister for IT and telecommunication.

Furthermore, the conference focused on Saudi Arabia’s ability to facilitate business and information technology visas for Pakistani nationals.

According to the official, the meeting covered topics of mutual interest as well as those related to information technology and telecommunications.

Bilateral Cooperation Between KSA and Pakistan

However, the parties agreed to expand their bilateral cooperation in the telecommunications and information technology industries.

According to Dr. Umar Saif, the Pakistani government’s goal is to strengthen ties with Saudi Arabia in the fields of telecommunications and information technology.

According to him, Saudi Arabia is a very appealing market for Pakistani IT firms.

Furthermore, he emphasized the importance of making travel and visa arrangements easier for Pakistani IT firms as they expand their operations and presence in Saudi Arabia.

Potential of Pakistani IT Firms

According to the Ministry of Information Technology, Pakistan has a large pool of potential IT and telecom workers.

Furthermore, he went on to say that Pakistan has a favorable business climate and urged Saudi IT firms to invest there.

The Saudi ambassador, Nawaf bin Said Al-Malki, went on to say that Pakistan and Saudi Arabia will collaborate closely in the IT and telecom sectors.
