Foodpanda has launched a push to renew its riders' licences

To continue serving its loyal customers and riders around the country, Foodpanda has initiated a license renewal exercise for its riders, commencing with its riders hubs in Lahore.

Rider hubs in Lahore made the necessary arrangements. The activities highlighted the platform and the potential it provides for varied stakeholders, with hundreds of foodpanda fleet riders participating in these events every day.

Foodpanda is proud to be a responsible corporate entity that adheres to local laws, rules, and regulations, as well as community norms. Because driving permits are such an important part of the work that Foodpanda riders do, the company places a great value on them possessing the proper documentation.

In this way, the platform takes on the role of facilitating license issues and renewals throughout the whole fleet.

The action in Lahore, which constitutes for a large chunk of Foodpanda’s local footprint, is critical in ensuring that all mandatory delivery requirements are met. During the two-day license renewal event, over 100 cyclists had their required papers approved under applicable traffic legislation.

New riders were also given learner licenses, which can be changed to permanent ones after 45 days, at the event, which was hosted in collaboration with the City Traffic Police of Lahore.

To ensure legality and acceptance, the campaign will be carried out in additional cities with the support of relevant municipal authorities. Foodpanda has always been at the forefront of changing the markets its services, and the driver’s license renewal campaign is another illustration of the company’s continued efforts in this direction.
