All textile exporters have been called to a moot at FBR headquarters on March 1, 2023 to discuss and settle the issues surrounding sales tax and income tax refunds.

The FBR tweeted on Sunday that it was committed to helping exporters find solutions to their issues so they could increase the nation’s exports.

To ease the impact on cash flow, the board has invited all textile exporters to resolve the refund concerns, according to FBR.

Additionally, FBR has not stopped short of addressing the liquidity issues that exporters are facing by issuing refunds totaling Rs. 208 billion during the first seven months of the current financial year as opposed to Rs. 183 billion during the same period last year, which is 14% more than the refunds issued the year before.
