Colin Farrell started a foundation for his son, James. James is 20 years old. He has Angelman Syndrome. This condition affects his development, movement, and speech.

James will turn 21 soon. After 21, many supports for special needs end. Farrell wants to help. He wants young adults like James to get the care they need. Farrell started his foundation to make this happen. He focuses on education, advocacy, and new programs.

Farrell and James’ mom, Kim, became James’ conservators. This happened when James turned 18. They help manage his needs. James can’t speak or take care of himself fully. But his parents make sure he gets what he needs.

Farrell feels deeply about being James’ dad. He knows it can be hard. But he also sees strength and love in James. This inspires Farrell every day. He wants the world to treat James with kindness and respect. Farrell’s foundation is a step toward this goal.
