Samsung revealed that Hubert H. Lee will now be in charge of the MX Design Team in the official blog post.
As EVP and Head of its MX (Mobile eXperience) Design Team, Lee will be in charge.
He adds more than two decades of design and leadership experience to Samsung’s team, having previously served as the Chief Design Officer of Mercedes-Benz China.
As the Chief Design Officer at Mercedes-Benz China, Lee won various accolades and leadership honors both in the USA and China.
Lee will now lead the MX Design Team in his new position at Samsung, which is in charge of creating Galaxy products including the Galaxy S and Z series, the Galaxy Tab, the Galaxy Watch, and other gadgets.
As stated in the official article, Hubert H. Lee’s addition will aid in giving Galaxy products a fresh look and feel while still adhering to the same philosophy that is cherished by millions of people worldwide. In his new position, Lee claimed, “I am excited to join a company that is on the bleeding edge of mobile innovation and lead the team responsible for creating new mobile experiences through the art of design.”
This month, Samsung also introduced its first-ever female president. Notably, Lee Young-hee assumed leadership of the Global Marketing Center, which is in charge of managing Samsung’s smartphone business, under the Samsung DX (Device eXperience) division.
