With the introduction of two new in-flight packages from Etihad Airways, travellers now have unrestricted access to messaging and chat services.
Depending on the length of the flight, the packages are split into two groups, with varied pricing.
Etihad Airways In-Flight internet
The first option is a conversation package, which costs $2.99 for flights up to seven hours and provides text-only access to chat and messaging apps. The cost of the conversation package for flights longer than seven hours is $4.99.
For the duration of the flight, the second plan, termed “surf,” provides limitless data, enabling users to access chat, messaging, email, and a variety of other services. For trips under seven hours, this bundle costs $9.99, and for flights above seven hours, it costs $14.99.
A variety of payment options are available to passengers, including credit cards, PayPal, Apple Pay, Alipay, and Etihad Guest points.
With this change, travellers will have access to social media during their journey as well as a way to stay in touch with friends, family, and their jobs.
Launch of direct flights by Air Canada to Dubai
By beginning nonstop flights from Vancouver International Airport to Dubai on October 28, 2023, Air Canada will expand its worldwide reach.
Four times a week, the route will be flown by the airline’s Dreamliner fleet, giving residents and visitors who frequently fly between the UAE and Canada a convenient option.
