Ericsson is being urged to engage Pakistani youth by the Federal Minister of IT

In recent news, an Ericsson Pakistan delegation met with Federal Minister for Information and Telecommunications, Syed Amin Ul Haque, to explore advancements in the future of digitalization and phone manufacture.

During the conversation, the Minister underlined the importance of ensuring better connection in the country’s rural areas.

The provision of low-cost, high-quality cell phones was proposed as a solution to the problem; however, the Minister also emphasised on Pakistani youth and how they should be engaged at Ericsson depending on their skills.

In view of the aforementioned scenario, Ericsson Chairman Ekow Nelson emphasised the company’s image as a means of enhancing the company’s diversification and expansion in the country.

Given the current surge in entrepreneurship and innovation, the Minister is also planning to establish more incubation facilities throughout the country.
