Elon Musk, a tech businessman, has stated that Twitter is now officially known as X.com.

“All core systems are now on X.com,” Musk wrote on X, as he posted an image of a logo of a white X on a blue circle.

After purchasing Twitter for $44 billion in 2022, Elon Musk renamed it as X in July of last year. Searching Twitter.com now redirects visitors to X.com, however the original domain name still appears in some browsers.

A statement at the bottom of the login page states,

“We are letting you know that we are changing our URL, but your privacy and data protection settings remain the same.”

Musk founded the company in 1999 and ultimately merged it with what is now known as PayPal.

At the time of the Twitter acquisition, the Tesla owner established a business called X Corp.

In order to complete the purchase agreement, claiming that X would become a super-app similar to China’s WeChat.

Last year, Musk hinted that the social networking platform was planning to charge all users for accessing it.

In a live-streamed meeting with Israel’s Prime Minister, Musk stated that the business was “moving to a small monthly payment” for the usage of the X system. “We’re moving to having a small monthly payment for use of the system,” Elon Musk said.
