Furthermore, the Interior Ministry has asked the ECP to provide a detailed report on security for the upcoming general elections.
The commission has requested in writing a thorough report by November 27 on the security personnel availability in Islamabad and the four provinces.

A security plan and the total number of security officers that the provinces have to offer should also included in the report.
Furthermore, the letter goes on to say that the provinces and the federation required by the constitution to support ECP.
Improving the state of law and order in each constituency is the duty of the law enforcement agencies.
Election commission sources claim that the decision has made to send the Pakistan Army in response to a lack of police officers at the polling stations.
