The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 will be announced on August 10th, but as is often the case with high-profile phone launches, the phone has already been leaked in its entirety.
Indeed, two major leaks have now landed almost simultaneously, one revealing the likely design and the other the likely price.
First, let’s take a look at the possible design of the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4, courtesy of leaked renders shared by Evan Blass – a well-established leaker.
These appear to be official press renders of the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 in three colors: black, beige, and a greyish green.
There’s a triple-lens camera and a design that looks almost identical to the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3, which isn’t surprising given the leaks. In fact, we’ve previously seen leaked renders of this design, so it’s most likely accurate.
The leak also includes some Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 renders, which resemble the Galaxy Z Flip 3 and match previously leaked renders. A dual-lens camera is visible in a black strip on the back, with the rest of the back in your choice of graphite, gold, blue, or purple.
The following topic is pricing. The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 will start at 1,998,700 won for 256GB of storage and rise to 2,097,700 won for 512GB, according to South Korean website Naver.
The starting price would be $1,799 / £1,599 / AU$2,499, rising to $1,899 / £1,699 / AU$2,649 for 512GB of storage. Notably, this contradicts another recent leak, which suggested that prices would rise slightly.
According to this latest source, the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 will start at 1,299,000 won for a model with 256GB of storage and go up to 1,398,000 won for 512GB. However, while this is a slight price increase, you are getting more starting storage if this leak is correct, and converted prices for the 256GB Z Flip 4 could be similar to what the 256GB model of the Z Flip 3 cost – it’s just that there may not be a cheaper 128GB version this time. This year, the starting price could be around $1,049 / £999 / AU$1,599 USD.
