Dar admit that economy will recover in next months of 2024

According to Finance Minister Muhammad Ishaq Dar, the country’s economy will improve dramatically during the next several months.

Speaking at an Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan-hosted post-budget seminar in Islamabad, he argued that the tough choices made by the government in the upcoming fiscal year’s budget will ultimately be beneficial to the economical crisis.

The Minister of Finance has promised to take into account suggestions from diverse industries in order to better the budget. He announced the formation of two budget-fixing committees. They will work to keep finances in check.

Pakistan’s economy is struggling

According to Ishaq Dar, Pakistan’s economy fell from 24th to 47th place after the PTI government’s weak economic policies. In order to keep the economical conditions stable, he stated we must maintain budgetary restraint. He also emphasised the importance of preventing additional rupee devaluation, which contributes to rising inflation and debt.
