The current rate of coronavirus vaccination in Pakistan's eligible population is around 90%

According to recent data, 92 percent of Pakistan’s eligible population has received the COVID-19 vaccine.

According to sources, Sindh has surpassed all other provinces, including Islamabad, which has a 92 percent immunization rate, in having 100% of its eligible people receive the coronavirus vaccination.

Regarding the other provinces and territories, Punjab has a population that is 91 percent vaccinated, followed by Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), Balochistan, 60 percent, and Gilgit Baltistan (GB), 65 percent.

It should be noted that 131,708,311 of the 14,31,90,050 people who are eligible for immunization have received the infectious virus vaccine. However, the nation has now disclosed an additional 50 instances, bringing the total to 1,572,598.

Additionally, according to the most recent statistics from the Ministry of National Health Services Regulations & Coordination (MoNHRSC), there have been 30,616 fatalities countrywide.

In the past 24 hours, Pakistan performed 10,139 tests, out of which 50 were positive, representing a positivity rate of 0.49 percent, and 45 patients are currently receiving critical treatment.

Methods to Avoid the Disease

The following are the COVID-19 preventive guidelines that the Government of Pakistan (GoP) has released:

Face masks must be used in confined and congested spaces.

People should refrain from attending unneeded social events with lots of people in public areas.

It is recommended that people always wash their hands.

People should keep their distance from somebody who has coronavirus symptoms.
