During his speech, the Prime Minister praised the event, noting that it marks a watershed point in history thanks to the availability of the Constitution app via mobile. He believes it will help young people and other individuals learn more about their rights under the Constitution.
The Prime Minister spoke highly of Zulfikar Ali Bhutto, a former Prime Minister, and the other political figures who helped bring Pakistan’s constitution to the people.
He said that in order to safeguard the Constitution effectively, the entire country and its institutions must work together.
Shehbaz Sharif has declared the government’s willingness to spend political capital on a suicide mission to preserve the country. He suggested looking inward as a means of moving ahead.
He also expressed his gratitude to everyone involved in commemorating Pakistan’s Golden Jubilee of its constitution.
Minister of Information and Broadcasting Marriyum Aurangzeb hailed the incorporation of the constitution into curriculum as a significant step towards raising constitutional literacy among the country’s youth. According to her, it will be required learning by next year.
Marriyum Aurangzeb commended Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah for his help in establishing the app. She noted that, with the launch of this App, the entire Constitution will be available to young people. Both English and Urdu versions of the software, she said.
The launch of constitution mobile app coincides with the golden jubilee of its implementation
Information and Broadcasting Minister Marriyum Aurangzeb oversaw the creation of the “Constitution Mobile App” for mobile devices. In addition, NADRA helped develop this smartphone app.
To further commemorate the Constitution’s golden anniversary, oratory contests were also staged at universities and colleges across the country. “Mera Aien Meri Azadion Ki Zamanat” was the name of the contest.
To facilitate study of the constitution, one Constitution Chair has been established at a university in each province. There have also been commemorative stamps and coins minted to mark the occasion.
