Colorful new 'Rider Kit' from foodpanda honors the company's riders

At an exciting launch event in Karachi, foodpanda, Pakistan’s top food delivery platform and e-commerce startup, showcased its latest Rider Kit. The event demonstrates foodpanda’s dedication to supporting the company’s most valuable asset, its riders.

Among the kit’s primary features are a newly designed jacket to protect riders from the cold weather throughout the winter and a helmet to add to their safety while travelling. Foodpanda’s management, elite riders, restaurant vendors, and home chefs all attended the event.

CEO foodpanda, Nauman Sikander Mirza, stated at the event,

“We are very excited to launch our new rider kit and showcase our appreciation to the delivery heroes who make it possible for us to provide excellent service to our customers. These delivery riders are critical to our business and providing them a safe and effective environment is a top priority for foodpanda. We will continue to focus on improving working conditions for our riders and offer access to flexible economic opportunities across the country.”

As part of their strategy plan to generate economic opportunities and a favorable working environment, foodpanda is working relentlessly to ensure that support is available for riders across Pakistan.

foodpanda is highly concerned about people and the areas in which it operates, and feels that they have a critical role to play, particularly in light of the COVID-19 problem. So far, foodpanda has employed thousands of individuals around the country, including 50,000+ riders and 5,000+ home chefs.
