The transport department has been directed by Sindh Chief Minister (CM) Syed Murad Ali Shah to restore all of the People Bus Service’s routes so that it can run efficiently.

Concern for fixing one of its seven roads was given approval, and the transport department was told to consult the local government department.

Murad Shah granted Rs1.5 billion, and he gave the order to finish the job in 40 days.

The Model Colony, Regal Chowk region of the 29.5 km long road from Model Colony to Tower required minor asphalt work, whilst the Malir Halt, FTC, and Aram Bagh sectors need pavement work and the repair of some broken sewerage/drainage lines, as directed by the CM at a meeting.

Route 2, which is 33 km long and runs from Nagan Chorangi to Singer Chorangi, also required asphalt work in areas like Hyderi, National Stadium, and Shan Chowrangi Roads. Additionally, the FTC Bridge and the left turn to Liaquatabad No. 10 had damaged sewer lines and broken pavement, both of which needed to be repaired.

The chief minister also gave the transport department instructions to add 250 bus stops in the next 20 days.
