The Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM) is an international financial sector and free zone on Al Maryah Island in Abu Dhabi, the capital of the United Arab Emirates. The Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce constructed the financial hub in 2013 and it became fully operational in October 2015. The financial services regulator, the registration authority, and the ADGM courts these are three authorities. AGDM is well known for its business friendly ecosystem ideas for financial sector.
The Abu Dhabi Global Market announced in January 2015 that it had renamed their headquarter “Sowwah Square,” to “Abu Dhabi Global Market Square.”
After implementing digital asset legislation in 2018, ADGM became an attractive jurisdiction for crypto business. ADGM joined the World Alliance of International Financial Centers the same year.
