Burj ceo's 'best pavilion exterior design' award goes to pakistan at dubai expo 2020

Pakistan’s pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai earned the title for “Best Pavilion Exterior Design” at the 5th edition of the BURJ CEO Awards and Summit, which was recently held in Dubai.

Rashid Rana, a well-known Pakistani designer, finished the design of the Pakistani pavilion for Expo 2020 Dubai in March of last year, over a year after the event was postponed because to the COVID-19 pandemic. On the occasion of Pakistan National Day earlier this month, President Arif Alvi also bestowed the Sitara-e-Imtiaz, the country’s third-highest civilian award, on Rashid Rana in recognition of his services to Pakistan.

According to Pakistan’s Foreign Ministry, the pavilion attracted more than a million visitors from 1 October 2021 to 15 February 2021.

“We are happy to celebrate the award given by Burj CEO for ‘Best Pavilion Exterior Design at Dubai Expo’,” the official Twitter account of the Pakistan Pavilion tweeted.

Pakistan’s pavilion, which is located in the Opportunity District of Expo 2020 Dubai, is 35,000 square feet in size.

The Pakistani pavilion’s main subject is ‘Pakistan, the Hidden Treasure.’ The goal of this theme is to expose the world to Pakistan’s hidden treasures.
