Belarus president announcing his visit to Pakistan by Oct

Sergey Lukashevich, the first deputy minister of foreign affairs for Belarus, announced that Alexander Lukashenko, the president of Belarus, will visit Pakistan in October.

And to sign several Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.

According to a news statement released here on Wednesday, he made these remarks during a meeting with Jam Kamal Khan, the federal minister for commerce.

Along with other officials and diplomats, Ahsan Ali Mangi, the secretary of commerce, and Andrei Metelitsa, the ambassador of Belarus to Pakistan, attended the conference.

Strengthen Bilateral Commercial

In an effort to strengthen bilateral commercial relations, Lukashevich also announced a meeting of the Joint commercial Commission for mid-September.

Minister Jam Kamal Khan lauded Belarus’s achievements in the production of agricultural machinery and tractors.

He emphasised the new strategy implemented by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif to foster confidence among the corporate community both domestically and internationally.

Furthermore, Mr. Lukashevich stated that a food and agriculture exhibition will bring 35 merchants from Pakistan to Belarus in July.

Pakistan’s Potential

The minister highlighted Pakistan’s potential for investment, pointing to the company Service Tyre Company’s move from China to Pakistan as evidence.

Moreover, the halal meat and gelatin sectors in Pakistan have attracted interest from Malaysia and the Gulf nations, respectively.

The federal minister also said that a Chinese producer of electric vehicles (EVs) intended to establish a joint venture with a regional power provider in order to penetrate the Pakistani market.

He mentioned the increasing interest of food and mobile phone companies in making investments in Pakistan.
