The “Snapdragon 8 Gen 1” was rumored to be the name of the next flagship Snapdragon, although Qualcomm never confirmed it. The chip has only been referred to as “our newest flagship Snapdragon 8-series platform” by Qualcomm, meaning it could be discontinued.
