Bank of Punjab to Secure Naming Rights for Lahore’s Iconic Gaddafi Stadium
In Lahore, the famous Gaddafi Stadium which has hosted international matches may soon be renamed as Bank of Punjab as per unconfirmed reports revealing almost completion a big agreement between PCB and the financial institution. Neighborhood Media claims that this change could last for five years like its parent bank’s name.
The computer enterprise is trying hard to earn more revenues through new affiliations with other firms (businesses). This means collaborations between arenas used for sports and large corporates aiming at mutual benefit. The rebranding of Gaddafi stadium came after their example from the year 2022. In 2018 Karachi National Stadium was rebranded National Bank Cricket Arena then a few years later changed into National Bank stadium.
The anticipated purchase would generate significant cash flow for PCB; hence improving cricket’s growth in Pakistan. This transaction is also one further stage in PCB’s goal of increasing finances from sport.
