Babar Azam, according to an Indian cricketer, is destined to become a legend

Babar Azam, Pakistan’s all-format captain, has proven to be one of the most complete batters of the modern era. The famous Fab 4 or Fab 5 are frequently debated.

Babar performed admirably in the recently concluded series against Australia. Former Indian spinner Harbhajan Singh praised his match-winning abilities and predicted that he would go down in cricket history as a legend.

Harbhajan Singh stated that he does not know who currently makes up the Fab 4 of world cricket, but Babar’s talent and performance are prompting speculation that he may be a member of the group.

“But now it’s too early to put him in any league. Let him play and keep on scoring more runs and winning games for his team. And talent-wise, he is no less than anyone else,” Harbhajan said.

Because of their ability to win matches and score consistently across formats, India’s Kohli, England’s Joe Root, Australia’s Steve Smith, and current New Zealand captain Kane Williamson are often referred to as the “Fab 4”.

In the historic series against Australia, Babar led Pakistan to an ODI series victory for the first time in 20 years, breaking several ODI and Test records held by legends such as Hashim Amla and Mohammad Yousaf.

The International Cricket Council (ICC) recently named Babar Azam’s 196 against Australia in the second Test as one of the best batting performances of the 2021–2023 ICC World Test Championship.

Babar has been the number one ODI batter in the ICC rankings since April 2021, and he became the number one T20I batter in November 2021, a position he previously held in 2018. In addition, he is the fifth-best batter in Test cricket.
