Manuel Lián, a renowned dancer and choreographer, collaborated with vocalist David Carpio to offer Con-vivencias, an innovative flamenco performance, to the Spain Pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai.
The performers delivered a show specifically constructed for atypical settings, blending classic flamenco dancing with new, experimental choreography to redefine the interpretation of the ancient Spanish dance.
Lián and Carpio also performed on the Earth Stage at 1830 GST on November 30 and at 2000 GST at the Spain Pavilion on the same day.
Throughout the six months of Expo 2020, the Spain Pavilion, located in the Sustainability District, will offer a variety of activities ranging from arts to sports held during International Days and Expo’s Thematic Weeks, as well as business seminars and other entertainment.
