Pakistan started the Asia Cup with a 238-run rout of Nepal, Babar Azam produced a lovely 151, and Iftikhar Ahmed slammed his first ODI century. After being put in to bat, Pakistan reached 342 for six thanks in large part to the efforts of Babar and Iftikhar. After a slow start, Babar (151 runs off 130 balls) was a part of two vital partnerships that helped Pakistan reach their massive total. He first put up 86 runs with Mohammad Rizwan (44 runs off 50 balls), and then he put on 214 runs for the fifth wicket with Iftikhar (109 not out off 71 balls).
Pakistan has performed well
After Pakistan scored 342/6, Nepal barely put up a fight, with only Aarif Sheikh and Sompal Kami offering any significant resistance. Nepal is bowled out for 104 runs, and Shadab Khan finished with 4 wickets. Pakistan reached 342-6, with contributions from Babar Azam (151 runs off 131 balls) and Iftikhar Ahmed (109 runs off 71 balls).
