Aseefa Bhutto-Zardari criticizes surging inflation under new budget

Aseefa Bhutto-Zardari, daughter of President Asif Ali Zardari and sister of PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari, spoke out about Pakistan’s economy. She said there is high inflation and unemployment.

Aseefa Bhutto-Zardari spoke in the National Assembly on Sunday. She said the new budget does not help the people. It should help farmers and common people.

“Do the people of Pakistan deserve this bad budget?” she asked. “We need to help the common man and farmers. The people of Pakistan deserve better. We should work together to improve things.”

Aseefa said unity is very important now. “People are divided by their beliefs. Disagreements lead to violence. We, as elected members, must rise and talk about these issues,” she said.

She called for action, not just words. “We must unite for the people. We need to find ways to help the poor. I hope for a new era in politics.”

She talked about Sindh’s problems, like long power cuts. “Unity is needed now. Blame games do not solve problems. In this heat, Sindh suffers from power cuts of 15 to 20 hours. This is too much.”

Aseefa Bhutto-Zardari ended with hope for a new political culture. “We must reject divisive politics. We need to support our farmers and work for a better future together.”
