Apple has officially discontinued its Clips app, bringing an end to the video creation tool after seven years. The app, which allowed users to make short and fun videos, has been removed from the App Store. While new users can no longer download Clips as of October 10, existing users are still able to use the app on their current or earlier iOS and iPadOS versions. Apple also noted that users can re-download it from their Apple account if needed. However, without new updates, the app may lose some of its functionality over time.

In its official statement, Apple advised users to save their Clips videos to their photo library. This ensures that their projects remain accessible for future use and editing through other apps.
