Apple iphones that are not supporting new ios 17 update

Apple revealed and previewed iOS 17, its newest mobile operating system, at this year’s Worldwide Developers Conference on Monday. This autumn, iPhone users can start downloading the significant update, but not everyone will have access. Some iPhones, including the iPhone X, are being left in the dust by Apple’s annual, big software updates.

You may check your iPhone’s model by going to the Settings menu. Select General > About from the Settings menu. You can tell which iPhone you have by looking at the Model Name.

Here’s how to check if your iPhone is compatible with iOS 17. The iOS 17 public beta will be released in July for those who are interested in testing it out. Curious about what’s new in iOS 17? Apple’s Messages app can now convert your images into custom stickers.

But what if your iPhone model isn’t on that list?

If your iPhone isn’t one of the supported models above, you won’t receive a prompt to update to iOS 17. For example, iOS 16 is the most recent version of Apple’s mobile operating system that will ever be compatible with an iPhone that is not the iPhone X.
