In response to media allegations, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) stated on Monday that any claims about left-arm bowler Mohammad Amir’s reinstatement in the national team were “factually inaccurate.”
The left-arm bowler, who resigned from international cricket in 2020, is reportedly planning to come out of retirement soon, according to speculations on social media.
The PCB declared that its selection policy is “crystal: domestic performance!” in a statement. Amir has left international cricket, according to PCB, it was further revealed.
The former cricketer management was reportedly approached by the Pakistani team’s selection committee and instructed to advise the cricketer to refrain from making pointless statements to the media, according to earlier rumours.
