Amazon’s Pranav Merchant has joined GoKwik as Head of Operations. GoKwik is an e-commerce enablement company on a mission to revolutionize the D2C e-commerce shopping experience.
Pranav will be the key visionary for strategizing the organization’s overall operational intricacies, stakeholder management, and driving the brand’s goal to be a preferred partner of D2C e-commerce merchants for all their conversion, cart abandonment, Return to Origin, and Customer acquisition costs problems in his new role.
He will be putting customer insights into action and working with upstream and downstream teams to create a more scalable and adaptable solution that merchants can use, thanks to his extensive experience and understanding of organizational development.
Prior to joining GoKwik, Pranav held leadership positions at Amazon, ICICI Prudential Mutual Fund, and Aditya Birla Group, where he oversaw operational setup and process stabilization. He led the formation of a new node for the Compliance Operations team at Amazon in Pune, which grew to 900+ resources over the last five years.
As a seasoned leader, he oversaw a team of 1400 people spread across Pune and Bangalore. Pranav has worked in the finance and e-commerce industries and has over 20 years of experience in stakeholder and people management, project scoping and completion, rolling out multimillion-dollar operational applications, client-vendor communication, and stakeholder and people management.

GoKwik currently has over 150 employees and is growing at an annual rate of 80 percent in a completely remote environment.
GoKwik has raised over INR 150 crores in funding and is backed by well-known investors such as Sequoia Capital India, Matrix Partners India, RTP Global, and marquee angel investors.
