The Amazfit GTS 2 Mini was released in India over a year ago and quickly became one of the company’s best-selling smartwatches.
The firm has now created a less expensive version of the smartwatch, which reduces the price from $92 to $79 and will be available on the official shop and amazon.in on Monday, April 11th.
The new GTS 2 Mini is constructed in the same way as its predecessor, with an aluminum alloy body, a plastic back, and skin-friendly silicone straps.
The latest Amazfit GTS 2 Mini (new edition) weighs 19.5g without the straps and features a 1.55″ AMOLED display with a resolution of 306 x 354 px, a pixel density of 301 ppi, and a maximum brightness of 450 nits.
It includes over 80 watch faces, approximately half of which were professionally made, and the Always-On feature has over 60 patterns. The body is waterproof up to 5 ATM, so you may comfortably swim with it.
A 220 mAh battery powers the smartwatch and guarantees 14 days of daily use. There is also a basic mode that disables most of the functions and allows the watch to run for up to 21 days.
When the battery is totally depleted, a full charge takes about 2 hours.
The watch also has over 68 exercise modes and a BioTracker 2 PPG optical heart rate sensor to detect blood-oxygen saturation (SpO2).
An accelerometer, gyro, compass, and ambient light sensor are among the additional inbuilt sensors.
It also has built-in GPS tracking, which allows the user to keep track of their outside activities such as running, cycling, and so on without having to link it to their smartphone.
A microphone is also included, allowing the user to communicate with Amazon Alexa to ask inquiries, set timers, add goods to the shopping list, and more.
However, there is no barometric sensor, which means that several sports modes, such as Alpine skiing, cross-country skiing, double snowboarding, and skiing, are unavailable.
Breeze blue, Flamingo pink, and Meteor black are the three colours offered for the Amazfit GTS 2 Mini (new version). The smartwatch will be available for purchase at a special discounted price starting from April 11th.
