Internet services has effectively been restored across the nation, according to the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA). The data network issues that led to the internet outage in Pakistan have now been fixed.
The internet services of PTCL are affected all across the country because of an issue in data network between South and North. As a result, PTCL users in the Northern and Central regions are facing internet outages.
Nearly all Internet users in Pakistan experienced connectivity issues in the morning, which led to a national outage. PTCL, Stormfiber, cybernet, Ufone, and Mobilink Jazz were some of the main ISPs impacted by the outage in Pakistan, which happened around 7:00 a.m. before business hours began.
The mainstream media did not cover Pakistan’s Internet outage, which directly affects the country’s financial sector as a whole. Almost all Internet service providers’ (ISPs’) customers complain on Twitter. PTCL wrote on its official Twitter account,
“Due to heavy rains and floods, PTCL’s optical fiber network is experiencing some technical faults. As a result, PTCL users in Northern and Central regions are facing Internet outage. Our teams are working to restore the services on priority.”
Users may now access the internet without being interrupted because the problem has now been fixed.
