Adidas debutes floating tennis court

The sportswear company has upped their advertising game by incorporating recycled plastic into the clothing worn by famous Australian players such as Ian Thorpe, Nathan Cleary, canoeist Jess Fox, and Steph Claire Smith while playing tennis on the world’s largest coral reef.

According to an Adidas spokesperson, the new collection will be unveiled during the Australian Open, which will be held in Melbourne.

Furthermore, the collection is inspired by the beauty of the Great Barrier Reef and is made with Parley Ocean Plastic to help with environmental sustainability.

The collection will also be launched in Queensland Marine Park to draw attention to the end of plastic waste initiatives and the protection of the Great Barrier Reef, according to the spokesperson.

Furthermore, the plastic used to construct the court will be recycled and used to construct a sports court at a Townville school. Adidas has taken an excellent initiative that will significantly contribute to environmental protection.
