The Sindh Revenue Board (SRB) has sealed an upscale restaurant in Clifton, Karachi, for consistently failing to comply with the rules of the Sindh Sales Tax on Services Act 2011 on the restaurant’s need to file required tax reports and pay tax.
SRB had already issued multiple letters to the eatery, requesting it to submit tax reports and deposit the money of the taxpayers in the Sindh exchequer.
This is part of the SRB’s campaign against probable defaults and evasion of taxpayer funds by those who are responsible for making timely payments of service providers’ taxes.
SRB stated that defaulters and non-compliant service providers will face severe consequences.

This is part of the SRB’s effort and commitment to prevent probable defaults and evasion of public funds by those who are expected to pay the tax owed by service providers in a timely manner.
The SRB will punish defaulters and non-compliant service providers severely.
