Epicenter of Earthquake

According to Volcano Discovery, the 4.5-magnitude quake’s epicenter was discovered to be in Afghanistan’s Hindu Kush region. It began 205 kilometers or more below the surface, far underground.

Different sources have, however, noted a little variation in the recorded magnitude. The National Seismic Monitoring Center in Islamabad reports that it had a magnitude of 5.1 and a depth of about 208 kilometers.

The ground shook, causing widespread worry and terror in the impacted cities, including Haripur, Kamra, Rawalpindi, Hawelian, Islamabad, Lahore, and Muzzafarabad.

People claimed to feel faint vibrations, which led to minor disturbances and widespread anxiety.
