The Pakistan Air Force (PAF) successfully returned 259 displaced Pakistanis from the troubled Sudan after a difficult evacuation mission.
According to a news release, the second Pakistan Air Force (PAF) aircraft successfully completed its mission to evacuate people from Sudan and returned to Karachi.
259 Trapped Pakistanis in Sudan Rescued by PAF
The Pakistan Air Force Airbus also evacuated 149 stranded people and landed at the Jinnah International Airport, Karachi, earlier on Friday. The C-130 Hercules, transporting 110 Pakistanis from conflict-torn Sudan, took off this afternoon from Jeddah.
According to the senior leadership of the PAF, Pakistan Air Force transport planes are carrying out challenging evacuation missions to return home compatriots who were left stranded in a war-torn Sudan.
The Pakistan Air Force’s transport fleet has always been at the forefront of answering the nation’s call during emergencies and natural disasters.
