Pakistan’s vehicle industry is having a difficult time. In Pakistan, automakers still produce motorcycles from decades ago.
In terms of both form and function, technology has advanced significantly. Although the 70cc motorbike category is one of the most popular in Pakistan, a local motorcycle company has created the nation’s first hybrid motorcycle. Here is what we currently know.
Local company Road King Motorcycles has begun producing hybrid motorcycles in Pakistan. The motorcycle has a conventional engine and is essentially the same size as a standard 70cc motorcycle. The key distinction is that the front rim contains an electric motor.
If you run out of fuel, you can still use this motorcycle’s petrol engine by turning on the front hub motor and continuing your journey. Now that the business has made certain improvements, this hybrid bike has undergone another overhaul.
Hybrid Motorcycle Advantages
The hybrid motorbike has a rear hub with a chain drive and an integrated electric engine, just like a standard motorcycle, which transmits power to the rear wheel through a chain drive.
This helps to reduce the weight and space required by two distinct drive methods. If you run out of petrol, just switch to battery power to continue travelling for another 60–70 km.
Although a method for charging rechargeable batteries might exist, it is not present here.
With the majority of its components coming from China and being produced locally, this hybrid motorcycle is not a very innovative design.
In addition, the technology is relatively outdated and need significant improvement. The prices of these motorcycles have significantly increased in Pakistan, where the country’s poor economic situation have led to historically high inflation.
The pricing of this hybrid motorcycle, which is close to 3 lac rupees, is an unreasonable asking price for the vehicle. It ought to cost less than one lakh rupees and will produce locally.
