150,000+ illegal Hajj pilgrims deported by Saudi Arabia

In addition, 5,868 non-citizens pilgrims have been arrested for violating residency, employment, and border security laws while attempting to conduct Hajj without proper documentation.

According to a news report, nine middlemen who attempted to illegally transport Hajj pilgrims to holy places have also been detained. Outside of the city of Makkah, 109,118 automobiles were also returned at checkpoints.
