In Punjab, 13 more children lost their lives to pneumonia in the last 24 hours. In the past 24 hours, 304 new instances of pneumonia have been detected, according to the Punjab Health Department.
Two youngsters in Lahore lost their lives in the previous 24 hours, according to the health authorities.
Additionally, the health officials in Punjab have documented 25073 instances of pneumonia, 5334 of which were in Lahore.

In order to stop the infection from spreading, Punjab’s health authorities are focusing on raising public awareness and implementing preventative measures in response to the recent spike in cases.
Pneumonia symptoms:

- Perplexity or shifts in consciousness (in adults 65 years of age and above).
- Cough that could result in phlegm.
- Weary.
- Fever, perspiration, and chills that shake.
- Lower than average body temperature (in persons with weakened immune systems and adults over 65).
- Diarrhoea, vomiting, or nausea.
