What is Broadband?
Broadband data transmission in telecommunications is wide bandwidth data transmission that transmits numerous signals at a wide variety of frequencies and Internet traffic types, allowing messages to be transmitted simultaneously and is utilized in rapid internet connections.
Coaxial cable, optical fibre, wireless Internet (radio), twisted pair, or satellite can all be used as the media.
Broadband is used in the context of Internet access to refer to any high-speed Internet access that is always on and faster than dial-up access via traditional analogue or ISDN PSTN services.
